WIP Wednesday: Spring Sock Edition
I was well on my way to finishing my April socks when I got distracted by some yarn and had to cast on my May socks a bit early. Oops. I do plan to finish the April pair before the end of the week, that is if I can put the May ones down long enough.

Kai-Mei socks from Sock Innovation, knitted with Yarn Chef Minestrone in Sedum [ravelry]. I love they way this yarn is dyed. The colors are hard to capture in a photo, but these greens are exquisite – so cheerful and springy.

Anastasia socks, knitted with Ancient Threads’ Sockittome in osage orange/cochineal/quebracho black [ravelry]. These sock reflect the colors I see in my neighborhood this spring…the colors of dogwoods, redbuds, and new spring leaves.
Both yarns are quite lovely, and I just love the new Cookie A. book!
I love your green socks! What a pretty color. I may have to take up knitting just so I can make some socks.

These socks are ridiculously gorgeous! I especially like the green heart socks! I remain quite impressed with your skills. And was also pleased to see that you’d sold everything you had on Etsy.
By the way, I’m one of the ladies from The London Tea Room knitting group. I was sorry that ended, but maybe Jackie (Pat’s other daugher) said it might start up again in the autumn. I haven’t checked, but I know Anna is due anytime now, may have already given birth.
Perhaps we can meet down there some time before the summer is over.
