FO: Laminaria

laminaria detail

Although I have not posted much, I have been getting a lot of knitting done! From the moment I first saw this shawl, I just knew I had to knit it. I even had the perfect yarn already in my stash – a 50/50 blend of wool and silk in a lovely bottle green color. I finished up this shawl in May, but it took me a while to actually block and photograph it. It is quite a large shawl, even though I used a smaller needle than recommended. Details and more pictures can be found on Ravelry

I love that pattern. I’m trying to get up the patience to figure out how to make it a rectangle instead of a triangle. Yours is gorgeous.

    Dear Heather:

I emailed in Ravelry to let you know I was trying my hand on the Rivulet scarf pattern. I had no idea of your present situation and I am very sorry for your loss. I hope you are recovering well both mentally and physically. You are such a courageous, talented and determined person! Keep confident! I hope that some of your most cherished projects will materialize. Hug you.
