Merry Christmas and I just saw Mars

December 24th, 2007

Despite the fact that it is below freezing outside, my husband and I just made a trip outdoors shortly before 2 a.m. for a breath of frosty air. It was clear and cold tonight as we stood in our bathrobes and gazed upon the unusually bright Mars, wished one another a Merry Christmas, and shared a kiss by moonlight. Yeah, we might be a little crazy, but the sky was so clear, the moon shone so bright, and the kiss warmed me clear to my toes. I almost forgot about Mars for a moment, and I did not even think about the cold. Then the kiss ended, we laughed a bit, and came back into our cozy little house.

Good night and Merry Christmas!
