FO: Jaywalkers
August 8th, 2007

If ever I end up in a Scarlet O’Hara-esque fashion emergency that demands I make a dress from my living room drapes, I will now have matching socks. Albeit, that would be a hideously tacky outfit!

I knitted up some of Grumperina’s nifty Jaywalker socks out of Sunnyside Ellen’s fabulous hand dyed sock yarn in Cottage Rose. I love the way the socks knitted up, but they are a wee bit wide for me. I tried going down a needle size, but that made the pattern too tight. I hope that after laundering they will fit a bit better; my socks always seem to shrink a bit in the wash.

I love the colorway! And the socks look so nice! My jaywalkers turned out a little too wide too.

OK, I’m going to be spending all my Etsy earnings on yarn now. LOL I just went over to the Etsy shop, and drooled over her yarn. It’s all so pretty!
